At UMass Rally, Sanders Tells Supporters 'Have The Courage To Think Big'AMHERST, Mass. – Emma Felix won't be voting for Bernie Sanders, not because she doesn't support the septuagenarian U.S. senator from Vermont, but because she's only 15. "He seems like he really knows what he's talking about," the teen from Suffield, Conn., said, waiting in a line of thousands for a Sanders campaign rally at the Mullins Center at the University of Massachusetts. "She wanted to come more than me," her mother, Liz, said with a laugh when asked if she was simply carting Emma along. Sanders brought his populist brand of politics to UMass Monday night, delivering a thumping message to more than 7,500 supporters, quoting Abraham Lincoln at Gettysburg and telling them his campaign was "of the people, by the people and for the people."
