Gunfire erupts as St. Louis high school students leave basketball game, teenage girl stabbed in sideST. LOUIS • Gunfire erupted across the street as spectators were leaving a high school basketball game in St. Louis, and a teenage girl was stabbed in the side. The incident happened at about 7:40 p.m. near Clyde C. Miller Career Academy at 1000 North Grand Boulevard. Gunfire erupted across the street at a Church's Chicken restaurant, and the spectators returned to the school until it was safe to leave, said St. Louis Public Schools spokesman Patrick Wallace. Meanwhile, the teenage girl was stabbed. It's unclear whether the stabbing was related to the gunshots but Wallace said the girl was not stabbed on school property and school security did not handle it, St. Louis police did. Police didn't have any more details about the incident late Friday. www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/gunfire-erupts-as-st-louis-high-school-students-leave-basketball/article_bff68914-e6ac-51cf-bcfd-5c0353a0ec02.html
