ATLANTA — The Georgia House on Friday approved a bill eliminating $10 million in state sales taxes on Super Bowl tickets if the NFL selects Atlanta as a host for its championship event. The House voted 127-22 for the measure, which is backed by Gov. Nathan Deal and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed. The bill gives the same exemption on tickets to other sporting events expected to generate at least $50 million in other revenue, including all-star games for professional baseball, soccer and basketball. Atlanta is one of four finalists competing for either the 2019 or 2020 Super Bowl, vying against New Orleans, Miami and Tampa, Fla..
