From prison, SD exotic dancer loses appeal of federal tax fraud conviction, sentence Veronica Fairchild, an exotic dancer serving a federal prison sentence for income tax fraud for not reporting $850,000 for private dances and sex – mostly from customer - lost her appeal of her 2014 conviction, Randolph Seiler, U.S. attorney for South Dakota, announced Friday. Fairchild, who had been married until her husband committed suicide in the fall of 2013, has three children, including one born in the fall of 2014 after her conviction.
