U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown doesn't want be be vice president of the United States even though he's been prominently mentioned as a potential running mate for Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton.
Brown has said so before; today, he repeated that to Dispatch reporters.
"I don't want to be president and I don't want to be asked to be vice president," Ohio's senior senator said.
But would he say no if asked?
"Well..." (He didn't say no.)
