COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved tax credits Monday for five projects across Ohio that are expected to create 670 jobs while helping to retain another 1,419. Collectively, the projects are expected to generate nearly $23.2 million a year in new payroll and nearly $135 million in investments, according to the Ohio Development Services Agency. Here's a list of the projects that were granted credits: 1. ConAgra Foods Packaged Foods: The packaged foods company expects to create 107 full-time jobs worth $5.4 million in new annual payroll and retain $13 million in existing payroll with an expansion project in Archbold in Fulton County. The state approved a 1.121-percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit. 2. The Worthington Steel Co.: The steel processing company expects to create 26 full-time jobs worth $1.5 million in new payroll and retain $12.9 million in existing payroll with an expansion project in York Township in Fulton County.
